Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to enroll in two workshops?
Yes you are required to enroll in two workshops, ONE from Workshop Session 1 and ONE from Workshop Session 2.
Will ReV Up Live Online be recorded?
Yes. Each workshop plus the Opening and Closing events are recorded. However, these recordings are only available to enrolled users (attendees for ReV Up) and will not be distributed anywhere other than here on GiFT. You can opt out of being included in any recording by simply turning off your video, and if you wish, remove your name from the screen.
Will I get certificate(s) from attending ReV Up Live Online?
Yes. Each workshop has a STELLAR Badge completion, plus the conference itself has a certificate that you will receive once you've completed both workshops, attended the Opening and Closing events.
What if I need help with enrolling in the workshops?
We're here to help. Throughout GiFT you will see a Help Desk Live (bottom right of every page) to connect with us. Simply click on that Help Desk Live and we'll be there to assist you. You can also email us at Amy@giftcalifornia.org or phone 831-250-5500; note during ReV Up on September 12 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. you can text 970-417-0505. However, the best and fastest way to get help is the Help Desk Live.
Do I have to pay for ReV Up?
Individual staff do not have to pay. You may notice a price (fee) associated with the workshops. You do not have to pay that fee. You should have received a COUPON CODE from your program manager for you to use when you check out during the enrollment process. If you do not have a coupon code ask your program manager to give you one; you may also contact us using the Help Desk Live.
What if I can't attend after I've enrolled?
You can tell your program manager that you are unable to attend after enrolling. Your program manager will take care of contacting us to see if another person can enroll in your place.
What if I am having technical difficulties?
For technical difficulties it is important for you to check your internet connection on your end; check your computer, iPhone or other device. If it seems like the difficulty is not your internet connection nor your device please use the Help Desk Live on GiFT (bottom right of every page) and contact us. You may email Amy amy@giftcalifornia.org or text 970-417-0505.
Will I have access to the workshop content after ReV Up?
Yes for sure. That's one of the really great benefits of online events, the materials and videos are accessible following the event. Since the workshops are being recorded you can rewatch them anytime following the workshop.
Will there be Orientation or Training on the GiFT platform prior to ReV Up?
Yes! We have hosted many GiFT orientations already. If you have missed a live orientation you can still access the orientations On-demand. The On-demand Orientation is located on your dashboard in GiFT.

What is GiFT?
GiFT is a collaborative project founded by Richard Tavener from Fused Learning, LLC. Richard is member of Region 5 Expanded Learning team and co-chair of Region 5 STEAM Ecosystem. You've probably seen Richard at any one of many Community of Practice events for Region 5. He is best known, sort of remembered for, being Orville Wright, working with his friends and colleagues Will Franzell who played Wilber Wright and Denise Green as Emila Earhart, during a COP last year. There are pictures of this event but we've worked hard to bury them; to no avail I'm afraid. A gift is something you share with others; something you have or get that's valuable and then you share it. That's the essence of GiFT.
