STEAM 6c +
The Six Cs are at the heart of the Mission Zero teaching and learning methodology, which explores big ideas in solving the Global Grand Challenges. We’ve expanded (+) Character to “Compassion and Character”, and Citizenship to “Community and Citizenship” to represent the changing needs and interests of students.
5e Framework
The 5e Model of Instruction includes five phases: Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate. It provides a carefully planned sequence of instruction that places students at the center of learning. Our approach to the 5e Framework is driven by constructivism, an approach to learning that holds that students actively construct or make their own knowledge and that reality is determined by the experiences of the learner.
