Mark Drewes holds a Master's in Educational Administration Degree from San Francisco State University. He began his formal career in education teaching sixth grade Math and Science / eighth grade English Language Arts to English Language Learners in San Francisco Unified (SFUSD).
It was also at Luther Burbank Middle School in SFUSD, that Mark helped to start after school enrichment opportunities and clubs through the Healthy Start Program. Mark Drewes has twenty -seven years of experience working with youth and adults from diverse socio-economic and cultural backgrounds both during the instructional day and after school setting. He has also worked with pre-school aged youth to high school aged students. During the past eight years, Mark has worked in the Region 3 Expanded Learning Office as a technical assistance provider for the 245 Expanded Learning Programs located in Region 3.
Mark is a passionate advocate for the self-empowerment of youth, adults, and feels that his main purpose as a human being is to be of service.
