Richard is co-founder of Imagine It™—multimedia curriculum for teachers to integrate critical thinking skills in the classroom. Richard is an Emmy®-award winning documentary filmmaker, author, and founder of GiFT, the Global Institute for Futures Teaching.

For more than three decades, he has worked with young people, creating experiences that get them thinking, talking, listening, trying new things, handling the unexpected, and seeing the world a little differently.
Mission Zero grew from that work—and from a simple belief: we can't tell children exactly what their future will look like, but we can give them opportunities to practice thinking when the answer isn't obvious.
